It is week 2 of the One Room Challenge. This week the wallpaper arrived. Woohoo! I am so excited to share it with you. It is absolutely stunning. It's from a company called Woodchip and Magnolia based out of the UK. I have been eyeing this wallpaper for over 6 months. I am beyond thrilled to have a found a place in my home to use it. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have a love for butterflies. A slight obsession if you will, I have numerous butterfly/moth art prints in my house. So this wallpaper is PERFECT to me. It is called Lepidoptera Willow Green. Is it not fabulous?
This week we also started the bathroom demo. I have a little surprise in the works and we have decided to re-tile the floor. YAY! This was not in the budget originally. However an opportunity has arrived and we are all for it! (I'll share more about that next week). For now, we are focusing on wall prep work. Let me tell you there is nothing attractive about deconstructing your current bathroom.
See this lovely sight? It is a window to the garage. The garage! We had covered it up originally with a large mirror. This reno we have decided to remove it permanently. Fill, patch, repair and drywall.
There is so much more to be done, but this week has been slightly uneventful, just waiting on supplies to arrive. Hopefully, next week there will be much more of a change! I'll leave you with a reminder pic of my mood board, and what hopefully will be achieved at the end of November.
